Midwifery program

BOB体育鈥檚 Midwifery Program delivers compassionate pregnancy care personalized for the individual. Our program offers comprehensive prenatal care and an array of services, including pre-pregnancy and nutrition counseling, birth planning, labor and delivery support and postpartum care. BOB体育 midwives also provide gynecologic wellness exams, primary women鈥檚 care and family planning consultations.

Maternal fetal care

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

BOB体育's division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) employs specially-trained experts in vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. The team is comprised of trained physicians, urogynecologists, pelvic surgeons, gynecologists and nurses experienced in the diagnosis, care and management of female pelvic floor disorders.

Gynecologic Oncology

Physicians at BOB体育 Women's Center specializing in gynecologic oncology treat a number of invasive gynecologic cancers, including those of the uterus, cervix, vagina, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and vulva. Specialized treatment is delivered through one of the most advanced cancer centers in the United States. The BOB体育 Cancer Center carries the designation of "Best Hospitals in America" for cancer care by U.S. News and World Report. And the multidisciplinary approach to gynecologic cancer care employed by BOB体育 physicians is only available through an academic hospital.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

Historically, gynecologic surgery has been performed by way of large incisions into the abdomen and required extensive hospital stays and long recovery periods for patients. Today, BOB体育 specialists employ the latest technology to perform minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS), which results in less blood loss during surgery, lower post-operative pain, less scaring and much faster recovery times. Endometriosis is an example of a disease that BOB体育 physicians treat with MIGS at high success rates. The goal is to treat patients using the least invasive methods possible to avoid complications and the need for follow-up procedures.

Urogynecology

Our team is made up of highly trained urogynecologists, pelvic surgeons, gynecologists, and nurses, all experienced in the diagnosis and management of female pelvic floor disorders. Perhaps our most unique asset is our participation in the University of Florida Pelvic Floor Program (UFPF) in which we collaborate with a variety of pelvic floor experts in colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, urology, physical therapy, nutrition, and nursing. Led by the pelvic floor program nurses and coordinators, we schedule combined visits and surgical procedures to optimize safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
