Thank you for your interest in volunteering. Our hospitals depend on volunteers to enhance the comfort of patients and their families, and to provide assistance for staff. Whether you are a retiree and want to give back to the community or a student hoping to fulfill volunteer hours, if you have a desire to help others we encourage you to join one of our Auxiliaries! There are a wide variety of needs and opportunities.
Our volunteers are carefully screened and placed in assignments. This process may take several weeks and includes background checks, TB (tuberculosis) skin tests, and mandatory orientation. We ask that all volunteers make a commitment of at least four hours per week.
