The BOBÌåÓý Throwing Clinic was developed through our physicians expertise in reducing and preventing throwing-related injuries and maximizing sports performance â€ from little league to the professional athletes.

Our team of clinicians, sports performance specialists, physical therapists and others look at the throwing athlete as a whole person, not just focusing on one area of the body. We use evidence-based medicine, data and proven techniques to prevent overuse injuries and enhance throwing performance, enabling you to reach your full potential. However, in times where surgical treatment is needed, our team of sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeons are available for surgical consultation and, if necessary, surgery. Your vist may include a clinical appointment with a doctor and physical therapist, throwing and debriefing, an exercise prescription or a combination of all of these services together.

We use a unique, client-driven approach that combines history gathering, a kinetic chain review and an assessment of environmental factors. Our goal is to optimize throwing technique and prevent injury even among the most complex cases. We know how important it is to minimize time missed when an injury occurs, so an evaluation should be performed as soon as possible to facilitate optimal recovery.

People engaged in throwing sports can experience as wide array of overuse injuries including injuries affecting not just the shoulder or elbow, but also the spine, hamstrings and other locations.
