The BOB体育 Children's Surgical Center is a four-operating-room surgical facility devoted to child and adolescent care.
Fully staffed by a team of children's specialists, the center's University of Florida College of Medicine pediatric specialty surgeons, anesthesiologists and physicians are qualified to perform the outpatient surgical procedure your child needs. That includes dental surgery, ear/nose/throat surgery, eye surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, general surgery, hematologic/oncologic surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery and urologic surgery.
Every nurse and staff member is a pediatric specialist, and like the BOB体育 Shands Children's Hospital, the nature-themed d茅cor is designed to be warm and inviting for a child facing the often scary experience of surgery. The center offers both efficiency and easy accessibility for patients and their families 鈥� including separate areas for preoperative care, postanesthesia care and postoperative recovery 鈥� a testament to BOB体育鈥檚 commitment to personalized care.
The BOB体育 Children鈥檚 Surgical Center is connected to the BOB体育 Florida Surgical Center, an outpatient surgery center for adults, but has a separate entrance and floor space.
