My bio
Mohammed Ruzieh, M.D., is an assistant professor of cardiovascular medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Ruzieh received his doctorate degree from An-Najah National University in Palestine. During medical school, he completed cardiology and emergency medicine clerkships at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. After Medical school, he completed internal medicine residency at the University of Toledo in Ohio. He then moved to Pennsylvania where he completed his fellowship in cardiology at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical center, Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. During his time there, Dr. Ruzieh served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow for the academic year, 2019-2020.
Dr. Ruzieh has special interests in syncope and arrhythmias. He has authored over 40 manuscripts and wrote many book chapters. He has presented his work at many national and international meetings. He also serves as a peer reviewer for multiple American and international journals.
In 2015 and 2017, Dr. Ruzieh was awarded the Students鈥� Teacher of the Year at The University of Toledo and he received the honor of the 鈥淭op Physicians Under 40鈥� list in Pennsylvania in 2019. Additionally, he was recognized with multiple educational awards throughout his training. Dr. Ruzieh is a member of the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Cardiology.
