Mary C. Grooms, M.D., FAAP, is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Florida. Dr. Grooms practices general pediatrics with a special emphasis on the promotion of healthy sleep habits. She believes in the promotion of lifelong health through immunization and preventive medicine. She and her husband have two school-aged daughters. When away from the office, Dr. Grooms enjoys family time, reading, writing, running, cooking and travel.
