My bio
Hello my name is Dr. Philip and I am a board-certified physician in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine. I completed a senior fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care from Texas Children鈥檚 Hospital at Baylor College of Medicine. I earned my medical degree at Kottayam Medical College in India, and then pursued two pediatric residencies at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College in India and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey. Next, I completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
At BOB体育, I serve as a clinical associate professor of pediatrics and as the medical director of the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. I am also the program director for the senior instructorship for pediatric cardiac critical care. In addition, I serve as the co-chair of the Pediatric Emergency Work Committee (PERWG) for Shands Children鈥檚 Hospital.
I have written publications on a number of topics in pediatric critical and cardiac critical care, including pediatric patients undergoing extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ventricular assist devices and cardiac-specific over-expression of melanoma differentiation associated gene-5.
