About me
Hello my name is Jacquelyn Crews, MD, a pediatrician and clinical assistant professor in the University of Florida Department of Pediatrics. In addition to helping each of my patients, I aspire to have a positive impact on our institution and the community. If I could improve some aspects of those groups, I would consider myself successful.
My medical journey began at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, where I earned my medical degree in 2014. I then completed my pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, from 2014 to 2017. In my clinical practice, I focus on delivering compassionate care to children and their families through community help and breastfeeding support. My experience includes working as a pediatrician at MDLive and serving as a director of community health rotation at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. I am passionate about improving pediatric health care quality, an aspiration that has led me to present and publish several research projects on topics like gastroesophageal reflux disease management and total parenteral nutrition standardization.
I believe in the power of community and actively participate in advocacy efforts. In my free time, I enjoy riding bikes, organizing (and re-organizing), and being near water. My mission is to inspire the next generation of pediatricians while providing the best possible care for my patients.
