2004 Award wrap-up Spring AOA
ALPHA OMEGA ALPHA
Membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, the only national medical honor society, is one of the highest academic achievements a medical student can attain. The UF chapter, established in 1960, inducts a handful of third-year students each spring and a larger number of fourth-year students in the fall. To be eligible for membership, students must rank in the top quarter of their class, although the selection process also considers service and personal character.
