The 4th Annual Integrative Medicine Conference will take place this year on May 6, 2017, at the Harrell Medical Education Building in Gainesville, FL. As part of our programs commitment to promote health and wellbeing, we are focusing our fourth annual conference on botanicals and supplements. It provides an excellent opportunity for the healthcare practitioner and general public to understand key herb-drug supplement interactions and learn about safe and effective natural products for specific medical conditions in both adult and pediatric populations.

The program will be presented by national and local experts in botanical medicine, dietary supplements and integrative medicine. Our keynote speaker is Ather Ali, ND, MPH, MHS, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (General Pediatrics) and of Medicine (General Medicine) at the Yale School of Medicine, Director of the Yale Adult and Pediatric Integrative Medicine Clinic, and Medical Director of Integrative Medicine at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven.

Our intended audience is primary care and specialty care physicians and integrative practitioners, scientists, nurses, nurse practitioners, dietitians and other allied health professionals. We are also inviting non-health care professionals and administrators in our health center who are interested in this topic and would like to include it in their program initiatives.
