Dr. Solbert is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine and Public Health at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. In addition, he is the Chief of the Geriatrics Consult Service at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He received his MD from Jagiellonian University School of Medicine in Krakow, Poland, and he completed specialty training in Internal Medicine and sub-specialty training in Geriatric Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Solberg is active in clinical research and medical education. His research interests include dealing with delirium in elders in the post-acute care setting, and early recognition and recording of delirium in the intensive care units.
