This will be the 31th year that Flad & Associates and Shands hold our annual Pumpkin Carve-Off a carnival for pediatric patients at BOB体育 Shands Children's Hospital who are unable to go out into the community to celebrate Halloween. The event is attended by patients, their families and our staff and visitors.

We offer fun, carnival-type games and activities for participants as well as the pumpkin-carving contest, in which guests from Flad, other local businesses and individuals carve elaborate jack o lanterns while the audience watches.

Once the competition is complete, our guest judges will vote for winners and the jack o lanterns will be delivered to our pediatric floors for the patients to enjoy for the remainder of the holiday.

3 p.m.- Carnival-type childrens games and entertainment begins (jugglers, face painting and treats)

4-6 p.m.- Pumpkin carving takes place

6-7 p.m.- Judging of pumpkins and prizes
