Recognize brain MRI changes that occur, over time, in patients untreated with immune-modifying agents. Discuss the effects of currently approved immune-modifying agents for jmultiple sclerosis on impeding development of brain atrophy and axonal loss. Describe emerging concepts regarding gray matter pathology in multiple sclerosis.
