Description
Thomas A. LaVeist, Ph.D., will present Explaining Health Disparities: Place is more important than race, but race matters, too as part of the College of Public Health and Health Professions Distinguished Scholar Lecture Series. LaVeist is the director of the Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions and the William C. and Nancy F. Richardson Professor in Health Policy at Johns Hopkins University. LaVeists lecture is hosted by the colleges department of clinical and health psychology and the PHHP Diversity Taskforce. The lecture is free and open to the public.
