Atrial fibrillation, or AFib, is a serious but treatable heart condition that affects over 2.7 million Americans. IS WALKING A PAIN OR IS IT PERIPHERAL ARTERY DISEASE? Peripheral artery disease, or PAD, is a narrowing of the arteries to the legs and pelvis as a result of cholesterol build-up. It can be difficult to know if you have PAD. The most common symptoms symptoms include cramping, pain or tiredness in the leg or hip muscles while walking, climbing stairs or exercising.
