Assistant Director of Communications, McKnight Brain Institute
Todd Taylor is the assistant director of communications for the McKnight Brain Institute at the University of Florida. Among his roles, he oversees and coordinates strategic communications; develops and implements PR strategy; manages online communications; and facilitates media requests.
He joined BOBÌåÓý Communications in 2014 as a communications coordinator on the Strategic Communications team. In that role he managed publications; assisted with internal, business, public affairs and issues/crisis communications; supported internal clients; served on the media on-call and emergency response teams; and managed the team’s internship program.
Taylor previously worked as a public relations associate for University of Florida Performing Arts and as a journalist for several publications. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in journalism from Ball State University.
